Two Xenakis days in Zürich on 28 & 29 May

To celebrate the centenary of Iannis Xenakis’ birth, the city of Zurich will dedicate a weekend to Xenakis’ compositions. Two days, two programs, two places.

The first day will be devoted to works for violin with the exceptional participation of violinist Irvine Arditti.

Gendy3, stochastic music created by Iannis Xenakis on computer, will also be played.

The second day will feature pieces for piano, violin and cello.

Works by other composers, including Schubert, will also be performed on Sunday 29.
