Terretekorh by Xenakis and Bach played at the Orchestre National de Lyon on March 26, 2022

Text by the National Orchestra of Lyon:

Bach is placed as the supreme reference in this concert that blurs the cards: the violin becomes a keyboard, the keyboard becomes an orchestra, the audience invades the orchestra, and the boundaries are abolished between music, mathematics and architecture, for unprecedented sensory experiences.”

In addition to compositions by J.S. Bach, works by Lara Morciano and Olga Neuwirth will be performed. Finally, it will be Terretekorh by Xenakis that will be played, respecting the desire of the composer: to place the audience within the orchestra:

For the work Terretektorh, 72 spectators will be invited to sit on stage, in the heart of the orchestra, to live an exceptional experience. To be part of it, be among the first 72 to answer the email we will send you a few days before the concert!

Conductor: Ilan Volkov
