Revealed in 2017 by the Victoires de la musique classique, 25-year-old percussionist Adelaïde Ferrière performs regularly as a soloist as well as in chamber music. With her impressive marimba, her incredible touch and her four sticks in hand, she will be one of the outstanding figures of this edition of the Bel-Air Claviers Festival. She leads the Xenakis Ensemble (6 marimbas, 6 sixxens, 10 woodblocks, 4 toms!!!…) in a (percussive) program elaborated from compositions of Iannis Xenakis, Keiko Abe, David Chalmin, Thierry de Mey and Steve Reich and sublimated by the dancer-performer Élodie Sicard.
