September 2002 : the third volume of the series devoted to Xenakis's orchestral works was released by Timpani, performed by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Arturo Tamayo, with Synaphaï (1969), Eridanos (1972), Horos (1986), Kyania (1990).

Eonta, Metastaseis, Pithoprakta are once again available in the legendary 1965 recording, conducted by Maurice Le Roux. This former Le Chant du Monde record is now available from Harmoniua Mundi - LDC 278368.

Antikhton, Jonchaies, Lichens, Shaar are sumptuously performed here by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Arturo Tamayo. With liner notes by Harry Halbreich, this second volume of Xenakis's orchestral works is an event in itself. Not to be missed … (Timpani 1C1062).
